Hand Selected Timbers

This Northern Wisconsin log home was constructed using our 3-inch by 6-inch hand peeled white cedar siding.

We do not sell commodity timbers like you may find elsewhere. Our trained timber artisans carefully select logs, even at the point of harvest, to make sure they meet our high standards for quality and aesthetics. And that's just the beginning of our painstaking process.

Hand-Peeling and Drying

What makes our logs distinctive and will set your home apart is our dedication to craftsmanship and quality. Our logs are available hand-peeled which produces random patterns and designs in the timbers that is unmatched by the regularity imparted by machine peeling operations. For a traditional log-home look, hand-peeled timbers offer the best aesthetic appeal.

We also care for our timbers based on considerations regarding the species of tree and end use of the log. Our process can take years, but results in logs of tremendous dimensional regularity and solidity and in logs with the best in visual appeal.
